A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for her will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. She went on to earn a master's degree in education at Syracuse University where she met Allan C. Hartley. The two were married in 1962 and eventually moved to Iowa City where they became active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement.
